Molecular

Over 3,000 samples are subjected to Real Time PCR (RT-PCR) analysis annually by the Molecular Laboratory, which is housed in the Athens facility. The tested samples comes from a variey of substrates, including vegan food, animal feed and seed.

Some of the analyses performed are:

• GMO testing in Soya, Maize, Rice, Cotton (screening, quantification and event identification methods).

• Animal species DNA

• Allergen tests

• Pathogens’ detection (e.g. E.coli 157)
