Microbiological
Most of the substrates must be analysed for a variety of microbiological parameters in order to ensure public health. the microbiological laboratories of VELTIA Group in both Athens & Crete are perfeclty equiped, in order to have the capacity and offer fast and reliable results for the – more than – 70.000 samples arriving in our facilities every year.
Our Microbiological Laboratories perform analyses in a wide range of products including processed food, water (potable, sea, surface) and waste.
The main analyses undertaken are:
- TVC 37C, 22C, Coliforms, E.coli, Enterococci, P.aeruginosa, C.perfringens
- Salmonella spp
- Listeria monocytogenes
- Legionella
- E. coli O157
- Cronobacter
- Campylobacter
- Staphylococcal enterotoxin
The accreditation of the laboratory according to ISO 17025 includes more than 45 microbiological methods in food, feeds, milk and dairy products, infant formula based on milk, meat & meat products, drinking water and sea water
